Here is a Quote from the Bahai writings on
EQUALITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN:

  • "...This is peculiar to the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh. Former religious systems placed men above women. Daughters and sons must follow the same form of study and acquire a uniform education. One course of education promotes unity among mankind."
    --(Abdu'l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 26)
  • `````````````````````````````

  • "And among the teachings of His Holiness Bahá'u'lláh is the equality of women and men. The world of humanity has two wings -- one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible. Not until the world of women becomes equal to the world of men in the acquisition of virtues and perfections, can success and prosperity be attained as they ought to be....."
    --(Abdu'l-Baha, Baha'i World Faith - Abdu'l-Baha Section, p. 288)

    That was Brilliant!-Lerato.

I believe that we(Americans) must clean up our own backyard before we can help others clean up theirs. Of course if the less fortunate people of other nations could help us(which is never, if at all), they are free to do so.
I don't believe its possible for third world people to even like Americans because of their traditions, religious, and political beliefs.
I do imagine a girl in provery. An American girl, who with our help will and can do more for the world.
